Overview
​​Coordinates Converter helps the user convert between different types of geographical coordinates. Conversion between WGS84, STEREO70, UTM, and S42 are supported. The base for all conversions is WGS84.
The project
The existing application was outdated in terms of usability and design.
The user interface should be easy to use and visually appealing.
My role
- Create wireframes and prototypes for the application.
- Responsible for the new look and feel of the product.

The outcome
- Added Onboarding screens to educate the users about the functions and benefits of the app.
- Switched to a light mode UI which allows user to digest information much easier and have better spatial awareness within the interface
- Simplified application menu for a more intuitive navigation within the app
- Added Language, About and Help pages to Settings for a better organized content and simplified navigation
- Made input fields larger and more obvious by defining boundaries which are also very important for users with mobility impairments and cognitive disabilities
- Added the ‘Export saved locations list’ feature to use the saved locations outside the app, without an internet connection
